USS Cony Annual Reunion – Norfolk, VA - Wed June 8 to Sun Jun 12, 2011
Lake Wright Quality Inn/Sleep Inn, two beautiful high quality hotels, serviced by the same Registration & including a hot buffet breakfast.

Hospitality Room: Our spacious Hospitality Room was open daily from 9 AM – 11 PM except for when we were gone on tour.

Thursday, 6/9 – Visit to Nauticus Museum/USS Wisconsin, a Norfolk City Tour, and a Spirit of Norfolk Dinner Cruise (guided tour of the harbor, a buffet, and a lively show).

Friday 6/10 - 11am – 2;30pm. A Norfolk Naval Station guided tour, complete with a luncheon at Breezy Point Officers Club.

7:00 pm:“Back Yard Buffet and Cony Idol” Karaoke contest; BBQ Chicken, Burgers and Jumbo Beef Hot Dogs (and all the fixin’s) with a garden salad, red skin potato salad and chef’s choice of dessert, Cocktail hour at 6:30 pm @ Pay bar. The “Cony Idol”
Karaoke followed the buffet dinner. (The $100.00 was donated to our treasurery).

Saturday Farewell Banquet and DJ Dance; The Saturday night Farewell Banquet had a menu of choice of Roasted Top Sirloin of Beef W/Sherry Demi Glaze or French Country Chicken. Dinners included garden salad, potato and vegetable. Chef’s choice of dessert. Pay bar at 6:30 pm., raffle and DJ Dance after dinner.

 Memorial Ceremony & Association Meeting & Photographer: The Memorial Ceremony was held Saturday at 1:00 pm, followed by the Association Meeting in the Hospitality Room. Portraits for the Memory Book started around 3;00 pm after the Meeting.
